About Aether

We're building the AI operating system for services businesses.

So every firm can own and compound the one thing AI can't commoditize: its context.

Why we exist

For a hundred years, a services firm's moat was talent — the smartest people, the best-trained juniors, the partner whose judgment clients paid for.

AI is dissolving that moat from below. Frontier models now put near-expert reasoning on tap for every firm, at the same price — the eight-person shop and the global giant draw from the same brain. “We hire smarter people” stops being a durable advantage when everyone can rent the same intelligence.

What doesn't commoditize is your context: the proprietary record of every client, every decision, every engagement, every hard-won lesson your firm has accumulated. An AI is only as useful as what it knows about yoursituation — and that's the one input no competitor and no model vendor can buy, copy, or download.

So the moat is moving. From the firm with the smartest people to the firm whose context compounds. The firms that capture and own theirs pull away a little more every month. The firms that let it evaporate — into Slack threads, scattered drives, and the heads of people who leave — get left behind.

We exist to make sure firms land on the right side of that sort.

How we think about it

Your context is yours. Owned, not rented inside someone else's platform. A firm's client memory and methodology are its crown jewels — they shouldn't live in a box it doesn't control.

Agents, not a chatbot. Purpose-built for the real moments of the work — never walk into a client meeting cold, catch the margin leak before it's a loss, keep the whole relationship in one place. Each does one job reliably.

It compounds.Every month of use makes the system more valuable and harder to leave. Six months in, it's your firm's complete institutional memory.

Where we start

Big visions earn the right to expand by proving themselves somewhere first.

We start with boutique consulting firms of 10–50 people — the sharpest version of the problem. The work is relationship-driven, context-rich, and badly served by generic tools. Today, Aether is the Client OS for consulting: it reads everything your firm has touched and answers any question about any client in seconds, surfaces the commercial truth of the business, and runs the whole client relationship in one place.

Consulting is the beachhead, not the ceiling. The same moat — owned, compounding context — belongs to every services business: agencies, law firms, accounting practices, advisory shops. Anywhere a firm's edge is what it knows about its clients, there's an operating system to be built. That's where we're going.

From the founder

Aether is built by Rui Luisat AgentForge Works. I kept watching capable teams lose hours every week reconstructing context that already existed somewhere in their tools — and I became convinced that in the AI era, owning that context isn't a nice-to-have, it's the whole game. So I'm building it, starting with the firms that feel the problem most acutely and the partners willing to build it with me.
