# Aether — Client Context Platform

Aether is the client-context operating system for consulting firms. It ingests every Slack message, email, Drive doc, calendar event, and call transcript, segments everything by client at the moment of ingestion, and lets the team reach that context in under 30 seconds — via a web app, a Slack bot, or Claude Desktop — with source citations on every answer.

The core problem Aether eliminates is the **Recall Tax**: the 20–40% of billable-feeling hours consulting firms lose hunting for context they already have — which Slack thread had the budget objection, which email agreed to the scope change, what was decided on last Tuesday's call. Existing tools don't solve this. CRMs track what was sold. Project management tracks what's due. Generic AI has no access to firm data and hallucinates. Aether turns "where does all my context live" into "ask anything, get a cited answer in seconds."

## Ideal Customer Profile

- Consulting firms with 3–25 people (strategy, technical, design, ops, boutique specialist)

- **Recall** — Ask anything about any client. Get a direct, cited answer in under 30 seconds. Available in the web app, via @aether in Slack, and through Claude Desktop.
- **Debrief** — Paste a call transcript (or connect Fireflies/Otter). Get decisions, action items with owners and deadlines, a status summary, and a ready-to-send follow-up email draft in under 2 minutes.
- **Status** — One-paragraph engagement health check with last 5 interactions, open commitments, risk signals, and a plain-language summary.
- **Onboarding** — Brief any team member on any client in 3 minutes: key contacts, engagement history, current status, and anything politically sensitive to know.
- **Proposal / SOW** — Draft proposals and statements of work grounded in prior conversations, concerns raised, and budget signals. Once approved, the signed scope becomes the reference the Scope Creep Agent watches.
- **Reporting** — Auto-draft weekly client status updates and emails with citations to the original source messages.
- **Meeting Prep** — A full pre-call brief arrives in Slack 30 minutes before any calendar event: likely topics, open commitments, sensitive notes.
- **Client Health** — Weekly Green / Yellow / Red score per engagement based on behavioural signals (reply-time trend, message frequency, meeting cadence, approval turnaround, silence gap). Monday digest delivered via Slack and email. Catches drift before it becomes churn.

Building now, visible on the public roadmap as "Coming soon":

- **Scope Creep** — Flags when client requests drift outside the signed SOW, with cited evidence from emails and Slack.
- **Action Item Tracker** — A running list of every open commitment across every engagement, with proactive nudges before things go overdue.
- **Competitive Intelligence** — Weekly digest of competitor mentions, pricing pressure, and alternative-vendor signals from client communications.
- **Churn Prediction** — Churn probability per engagement, based on how behavioural signals compound over time.

Every agent response includes source citations. No unsourced summaries. Client-facing drafts (emails, reports, proposals) can be routed through a senior-review gate before they send.

All ingestion is continuous: new content is indexed within minutes of being posted, sent, or edited. Every piece of data is tagged to a client at the moment of ingestion; agents only ever query the client they were asked about.

## Trust & Security

- **Per-client isolation** — Every document is scoped to a single client. Agents can't leak data across engagements, even within the same firm.
- **Per-firm isolation** — Your firm's data is completely isolated from every other Aether workspace. No cross-firm pooling, no shared index, no training on your content.
- **OAuth-only** — All connections use OAuth. No API keys or credentials stored.
- **Source citations always** — Every factual claim traces back to a Slack message, email, or doc. No hallucinated summaries.
- **Senior review gate** — Client-facing outbound content (proposals, reports, follow-up emails) can be routed to a senior for approval before it sends.
- **Delete or archive on demand** — Archive inactive clients (data retained but excluded from queries) or permanently delete a client workspace with a confirmation gate.
